2.3 Structure of a Formal Letter:

• Body: Detailed information or request.
  • Example: أود التقدم بطلب وظيفة في شركتكم الموقرة. (awwad at-taqaddum bitalab wazifa fi sharikatukum al-muhtaramah) – “I would like to apply for a job at your esteemed company.”
• Closing: Polite ending and closing statement.
  • Example: مع فائق الاحترام، (ma‘a fā’iq al-ihtirām) – “With utmost respect,”
• Signature: Name and contact information.

3.1 Definition and Use:

• Title: Clear and specific to the report’s content.
  • Example: تقرير عن سوق العمل في السعودية (taqreer ‘an suq al-‘amal fi as-sa‘udiyya) – “Report on the Job Market in Saudi Arabia.”
• Introduction: Outline the purpose and scope of the report.
  • Example: هذا التقرير يهدف إلى تحليل سوق العمل الحالي في المملكة العربية السعودية. (hadha at-taqreer yahdif ila tahleel suq al-‘amal al-haali fi al-mamlakah al-‘arabiyyah as-sa‘udiyyah) – “This report aims to analyze the current job market in Saudi Arabia.”
• Body: Main sections, each covering a different aspect of the topic.
  • Use headings and subheadings for clarity.
  • Include data, analysis, and findings.
• Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and provide recommendations.
  • Example: من الواضح أن هناك حاجة لتطوير مهارات العمل لدى الشباب لتلبية احتياجات السوق. (min al-wadih anna hunaaka haaja li tatweer maharat al-‘amal lada ash-shabaab li talbiya ihtiyaajaat as-suq) – “It is clear that there is a need to develop job skills among the youth to meet market demands.”

4. Writing Social Media Posts

4.1 Definition and Use:

• Social Media Posts: Short and engaging pieces of writing used on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Purpose: To share information, express opinions, or engage with an audience.

4.2 Characteristics:

• Conciseness: Keep it brief and to the point.
• Engagement: Use questions, hashtags, or call-to-action phrases to engage readers.
• Visual Appeal: Use emojis, images, or videos to enhance the post.
